2008 Fourth Annual Oktoberfest Footrace 10k/5k Winners Announced

The Fourth Annual Oktoberfest Footrace, hosted by Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists, was held on Saturday, October 11, 2008. The race consisted of a 5K and 10K run.

All Proceeds to Benefit from the footrace will benefit the Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry. CCM was created in 1969 by local churches to serve those in need in the Hickory community without duplication. Although the CCM has grown and changed over time, the basic purpose remains the same: to meet the needs of “the least of these” in our community in a loving and compassionate way.
