Symphony on the Sand with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
Enjoy an evening of Symphony on the Sand at Callaway Gardens® with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 8 p.m.
Andrew Altenbach, guest conductor and Atlanta native, and the talented ASO musicians will take the stage on Robin Lake Beach for a performance of “Marches & Medleys.”
“For two years now we have been mesmerized by the performance of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra on the beach,” said Edward Callaway, chairman and CEO of Callaway Gardens. “To hear such beautiful music in a beautiful setting is simply amazing. This is a ‘don’t miss’ kind of experience.”
The ASO overnight package includes general seating tickets for two to the ASO concert; Friday and Saturday day admission to Callaway Gardens; Friday night lodging and use of the Callaway Fitness Center. The package starts at $155** in the cozy Mountain Creek Inn and also is available in the relaxing Southern Pine Cottages, secluded Mountain Creek Villas and the luxurious Lodge and Spa.
General seating* on the lawn at Robin Lake Beach is available at the gate for only $15 per adult (tax included, no advance purchases, non-refundable, no rain date); admission for children 12 and under is complimentary.
A limited number of stage front tables* on the beach (with eight chairs and table cloths) are available for $240 each. To reserve a table, please call 706-663-5047. Dress is casual. The Robin Lake Beach gate will open at 5 p.m. The concert will begin at 8 p.m.
