Follow these simple steps and market your business effectively and efficiently!
The first steps to marketing your business effectively are identifying your
objectives, and figuring out to whom you should direct your advertising efforts. By identifying both of these factors, you’ll be able to design a marketing plan that will work for your business.
1 What are your Objectives? Please check the MAIN objectives to accomplish:
o Increase in-store traffic
o Promote a specific product or service
o Keep my name top-of-mind in the market
o Offer competitive price points
o Create or change the image of my business
o Drive consumers to my website
o Get people to come to my event/sale
o Align myself with charity-related or cause-marketing initiatives
2 Who are your Target Consumers? Circle:
Most of the people that shop in my store are:

Most of the people that shop in my store are:
12 18 25 35 45 55 65 over 65
I would use these words to describe the people that shop in my store: (for example – education, income, family, demographic and psychographic estimates)
The people that shop in my store generally:
o Live in the immediate area
o Are from this town
o Travel from out of town to shop here
