Painting the Region
Oct. 4-10
Local and regional artists will descend on Jacksonville to participate in Painting the Region: “Cowford” on the Bartram Trail. The artists pay tribute to the beauty of the historic and waterfront spaces of the Downtown neighborhoods. Visitors will be able to locate artists throughout the day through their GPS on their phone, calling in or stopping by festival headquarters. The City of Jacksonville Beach is proud to present the 9th Annual Summer Jazz Series. Enjoy the combination of exciting music performed by national recording artists, the caress of cool sea breezes, and the rhythm of the ocean. Admission is free and open to the public. The Cumberland Sound Ferry announces all day, every hour on the hour service for this year’s Shrimp Festival.
Amelia River Cruises will close down Saturday, May 1st, and Sunday, May 2nd, to have three boats running all day to ferry passengers out of St. Marys, Georgia to the heart of the historic district of Fernandina Beach, Florida.
