Painting the Region

Local and regional artists will descend on Jacksonville to participate in Painting the Region: “Cowford” on the Bartram Trail.  The artists pay tribute to the beauty of the historic and waterfront spaces of the Downtown neighborhoods. Visitors will be able to locate artists throughout the day through their GPS on their phone, calling in or stopping by festival headquarters. The Jacksonville Public Library Foundation has launched an online poll giving literary enthusiasts the opportunity to choose the writer appearing at the Breakfast with an Author on Feb. 27, 2010, during Much Ado About Books.  The three authors that could be chosen for the intimate breakfast are Chris Bohjalian, Tori Murden McClure and Katherine Hall Page.
