The Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art is delighted to announce the establishment of the Creel-Harison Community Art Gallery, located on the third floor of historic Ware’s Folly at 506 Telfair Street in downtown Augusta.  Ware’s Folly (c. 1818) is home to the Institute’s main gallery and administrative offices.  Renovated through the generous support of the Creel-Harison Foundation, this new gallery will serve as a dedicated exhibition space for local artists and will help to promote public awareness and appreciation of visual arts, a vital sector of the local arts community.  …

In an effort to “go green,” Green Lifespace will be working with the Savannah Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) for the second year in a row to provide recycling services for the Savannah Craft Brew Fest.
For last year’s inaugural Savannah Craft Brew Fest, Green Lifespace recycled an estimated 2,300 lbs. of glass beer bottles. Every single bottle was recycled at the City’s Recycling Center.
