The Grumpy Old Jazzmen

(864)325-6778

A trio of versatile musicians, The Grumpy Old Jazzmen provide music, fun and energy wherever they perform, whether it is a wedding reception, dinner club, party, nursing home, or Greenville Drive game. You might have heard them performing at the Carolina First Center for Dr. Tom Barton’s Retirement Reception, providing accompaniment to Upstate Forever’s “Dinner of the Decade” at The Masters’ House, entertaining the jazz buffs at The Brown Street Club, or pleasing the crowd at Fridays at the Fountain. Most recently they were discreet background music for The Greenville Museum of Art’s Antique Auction.

The Grumpy Old Jazzmen bring their varied musical backgrounds to breathe new life into the old standards. Guitarist Jim Conlin is ½ of Brazil Duo, bassist Pete Cash is a member of True Blues, and trumpeter / vocalist John Hoppe is leader of The Swing Shift Combo. Both Jim and John are members of The Pat Throneburg Big Band.

Call John at (864)325-6778 or e-mail him to book The Grumpy Old Jazzmen

…and remember it’s never too early to think about having a

Grumpy Little Christmas.
