To See with Words 2010

12 March 2010

Full Circle Arts invites the public to an Opening Reception for “To See with Words” on April 15, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30. “To See With Words” is an exhibition where area writers are invited to interpret artworks by local artists with short writings, such as poems or essays. Writers participating are high school and college students as well as professionals.

For 2010, FCA has decided to try something a little different by giving recognition to young artists in our midst. The visual part of the show is limited to artists who are between the ages of 16 and 30. However, we are inviting authors of all ages to write an interpretation of one or more of the pictures in the exhibition.

If you are interested in writing for this show, please contact Full Circle Arts at (828)322-7545 or email us at info@fullcirclearts.org. Photos or CD images of the artwork are available for viewing now. Images can also be seen at www.fullcirclearts.org . Writings are due, one page or less, by March 25, 2010.

The art, visual and written, will be on display side-by-side, at FCA from April 15 to May 14. The paintings displayed are by members and friends of FCA.

Full Circle Arts is committed to connecting artists with the community and fostering interest in the arts in young and old.
